Actually symbian is an operating system (OS) just like windows, linux,unix with a little difference. It is used on cell phones or smart phones.
So, symbian is an OS which provide a Plate form to run software.
If we have a symbian cell phone then we have number of software to run. Nokia had adopted this plat form
And after Nokia Sony Ericson also adopted this technology
Almost Nokia cell phones are symbian except Nokia 6500 it is a java cell phone. However
Nokia N95, Nokia E95, Nokia 5800, Nokia 5530 xpressMusic, NokiaC3, Nokia C5
